Founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas, Chi Omega is the largest women's fraternal organization in the world with over 400,000 initiates, 181 collegiate chapters, and over 240 alumnae chapters. Throughout Chi Omega's long and proud history, the Fraternity has brought its members unequaled opportunities for personal growth and development. Chi Omega was chartered at Kansas State University on March 22, 1947. Our chapter began with 17 outstand-ing women and has grown to almost 130 today. The original 17 members consisted of 14 charter members and 3 “pledges”. These members founded ACW GZ at our first location of 615 Fair-child Terrace. Alpha Chi Omega Foundation supports the development of our members as leaders and agents of positive change in our communities.
