If not add another spacer just a touch longer than the other 2 so it puts weight down in this area.
Jan 2, 2021 · I think that pushing a smitty sled would be like pushing a chain, not very easy. Pulling is a lot easier. May be on limited fresh snow atop hard ice ..but over any land terrain would be near impossible . hard pack drifted snow would present a problem. Sort of making a ski sled bed. Then screw your otter to the boards. I built this big old floor for my clam thermal summit. It measures 6′ x 10′ but is in 2 sections ( 5′ x 8′ each). I usually leave them in my trailer when there is minimal snow and tow with my ATV. But when snow is an issue I built two runners using 2 x 6 boards for risers and a total of 4 snowboards.
