Aug 12, 2020 · Now I’m reading a lot of threads that state a rifle+2 gas system should be used with 6.5 Creedmoor, but most 20-inch barrels (Criterion, Faxon, Ballistics Advantage, Proof Research, etc) are done in rifle length gas systems. The only 20-inch barrel I could find in rifle+2 was a Craddock with a price double my budget. My next barrel will be either a Faxon or a Ballistic Advantage. Both have great fit and finish and both shoot great. Green Mountain is another excellent choice if you ever get anymore barrels they are worth a look.

Just canceled a backorder I had with Granite Ridge for BA 12.5" 6.5G barrel and picked up a Faxon 12" 6.5G in the exchange. Haven't tried any handloads or even good match ammo, and I only have a 1-4 optic on it, but I'm very happy with it thus far.
