If it was mine I know the situation would always be in the back of my mind and bug me. The SR1911 I bought in 2014 has got some CNC cutting issues on the frame which was causing some problems. I have discovered the issue after 10 months using it in competitions. I have contacted Ruger's customer service. Amazingly, Ruger offered me to replace it with a brand new one.
