In 1935, Dennis W. Moody, the son of Wade C. Moody, joined his father in the business. But like his father before him, Dennis had to leave the business temporarily to serve his four years in the Armed Services. In 1947-48, Dennis became the President of Moody Funeral Home, which then extended into Dobson, North Carolina and Stuart, Virginia.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home and at other times at the homes of his father, Teddy or his mother, Carol.
