The general major provides foundational courses in exercise science that prepares students for many paths. Students interested in sport administration can build a foundation in the management of sport, and explore career options related to amateur, interscholastic, or professional sport operation and business.Courteney received her undergraduate degree in exercise science from UWF in 2013 and was a member of the women’s soccer team that won the NCAA DII National Championship in 2012. Her research interests include using data and technologies to optimize performance and safety in sports.Course Description. A study of the basic structure and function of the major systems of the human body, this course focuses on an in-depth exploration of the musculoskeletal and neurological systems for athletic training, health, and exercise science majors.
