Rail mount for my Vortex 3MOA reddot scope is low. 6/8/2020: I bought this rail for my Ruger Mark IV. Installation was easy, Vortex 3MOA red-dot fits well. Everything shot dead center, but about an 1 1/2” low at 10 yards. I took the mount off, shot with iron sights again and it was center of the bullseye. I’m assuming a defect in the part.
Looking for suggestions for a reflex/red dot sight to put on my Mk IV. This is just a plinker. I don't do any competitive shooting with it. I'm kind of leaning towards something like the Holosun 507c that's got the auto brightness as well as the shake-on just for simplicity's sake. I'm open to other ideas though.

I'm not familiar with the new MK IV enough to say for sure,,, but I'd about bet that any mount for the MK III will work. I also do not have any experience with the Vortex Viper red dots,,, but I do use a fair number of UltraDot, Burris, & C-More. So, you shouldn't have to remove the front sight if you do not wish to.
