One of the biggest appeals of the Steam Deck is just how repairable it really is. Depending on familiarity and experience level, swapping the fan out really is anywhere from a 5 minute job to an hour (really unfamiliar and inexperienced). The thing with game compatibility is that the Steam Deck is a controller and so you wont have much fun with any game not designed to be used with an Xbox controller.
