That being said, I've also read about a Mercedes that doesn't have an ac clutch, but rather the compressor vanes are varied to increase/decrease the compressor pressure.Just finished driving 1800 miles from Florida to our new home in New Mexico, no real issues to speak of expect the mirror thing and ran low on DEF just before we got here. Went out to move the van today and "SERVICE ENGINE" message, pulled the code with Torque and got P2872 "Drive Train". One google search says it CLUTCH "A" STUCK ENGAGED.The p2872 code indicates that one of the internal clutches inside the transmission is stuck on. ok im still kind of confused because once i swapped the avtuator motors around the vode chamged to clutch a being stuck and engaged rather than b being stuck and engaged actuator. So that would mean the actuator is possibly faulty.
