A bit anecdotal, I know, but afterwords I grabbed godr awakening as well. The climb on both weapons seemed to pop through with lower failstacks than blackstar.Additionally, Blackstar quests are a bit weird on stacking multiple simultaneously. If you choose certain ones first, you are locked out of choosing other ones until you finish the one you started. So take " [Blackstar weapon] Prohibited Area" and finish it to the bitter end.
