Camp Lejeune is one of the most well-known military bases in the United States, and for good reason. It’s home to over 47,000 active duty personnel and their families, making it one of the largest Marine Corps bases in the world.The Midwestern Music Camp at KU is the second longest-running music camp in the United States. The KU MMC provides students with the opportunity to learn from KU Music faculty as well as established and emerging musical artists each summer. The pep bands at KU are an integral part of the dynamic experience at Women’s Volleyball games and Men’s and Women’s Basketball games. All pep bands are comprised of members of the Marching Jayhawks.
