Well a mercenary would usually have light armor with a lot of protection and high quality metals such as ebony and ect. That's just what I read anyway and I seen some cool Merc oriented armor mods on Nexusmods so I thought maybe some of them would be on Xbox too that s why I asked here. It does suck that a majority of the quests in skyrim are hero saves the day type quests, or deranged murderer/psychopath type quests. Playing a morally grey mercenary character is more challenging. I do believe its doable and fun with a lot of mods though, just have to focus more on the roleplay aspect. I like how Skyrim makes you challenge your character's morality for some of the Daedric artifacts. Well I decided to install that mod, I just couldn't think of anyone I felt happy about sacrificing. The quest was still fairly challenging after that and I think I earnt the ebony mail, although I'd say my heavy ebony armor with 25 health bonus is probably better.
