Walking over broken glass can cause holes in footwear. With a high enough tailoring skill you can fully repair holes in most clothing.Yeah, it's a grind. The higher your level, the more materials you get, so upping to 4 and tearing everything, you can easily get 200 odd stored which is an easy lvl 8. Maybe more.
