Now the keyboard wont light up no matter what i do. Everything else is normal, i can still using keyboard adjust sound and screen brightness, just the keyboard wont light up ... Even with armourey crate, nothing will make it light up.1) Unplug the laptop and remove the battery. 2) Remove the CMOS battery too. 3) Press & hold the power button for 30 seconds to completely clear any residual charge. 4) Remove the keyboard. 5) Take your time very carefully re-seating both the ribbon for AlienFX lightning zones and the keyboard.

Hi all, I got a brand new Alienware M18 R1 AMD a couple weeks ago and for the first week all lights worked and AlienFX recognized all lights. Now the only option shown in AlienFX is the keyboard.
