Complete/enroll in JMC 101 by application period and earn C or higher. Students who have completed journalism courses beyond JMC 101 with less than a 2.5 journalism GPA will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications awarded more than $860,000 in scholarships and awards this year to current and incoming students. In the last few years, 75 to 95 percent of current students who applied received at least one scholarship. Each April, students are recognized during an award ceremony.
