DPS means that the role that build fills in the team is DPS (Damage Per Second), i.e. your job in the group is to do damage. Vindicator has more of them. Also the only condi utility skill on Herald is "Elemental Blast" which does 3 stacks of burning. Vindicator has 2 utility skills with condi.
