Feb 4, 2024 · I've been reading a lot on line warning not to buy the Carnival gift cards from AARP because of problems purchasing and actually using them. I've been unable to complete transactions for the last week when trying to purchase these cards for an upcoming cruise. Is it electronic and immediate?Dec 12, 2021 · There will be a drop down box that says "Discover" just below your rewards balance. Click on it, then click on "Redeem" and then click on "Members Only." Once you do that it will pull up the members only rewards options, on mine the Carnival gift cards are the first ones shown. You do have to be a paid member to purchase the gift cards.

AARP only allows us to buy 1 Carnival gift card per month. If you have a spouse with you on the AARP membership account, they can create their own AARP Rewards account and that enables you to buy two per month. Click on the AARP Rewards in the red banner near the top of the page. If your not signed in you will need to do that then choose "Redeem". The AARP Cards are currently there at a 10% discount.
