Hi all, I have a question re: STEM OPT Extension with a CIP Code update from non-STEM to STEM. I am applying in April 2023. Here are the facts: Applying for STEM OPT Extension based on a previously obtained degree. The previously obtained degree is an M.B.A. conferred within the past 10 years by a U.S. accredited institution and is SEVP-certified.The STEM OPT extension is a 24-month extension of post-completion OPT. It is available two times to eligible F-1 students who have completed a STEM degree within the last 10 years from an accredited U.S. institution. Eligibility Criteria.
