How often do dayz servers reset

Then 1 hour of dark and restart.Yea, that blows when it's your ping. To further my previous point, if the time penalty when switching servers was only 15 seconds you and your friends could hop in and out until you are close enough to each other to reasonably meet up. Which could take 10 to 15 mins instead of 40, like you mentioned, @General Zod .Most now a days will have on their names how often. A lot are 1/2/3hr restarts, a few 4 hrs and I've seen one 5 hr. Others don't have the times posted and are usually random. :) Good-luck on finding one! The clan servers seem to reset often and randomly. It gets to be very annoying.

Then pick a date that the server will start at when it restarts, then look up the when sunset is approximately, then back up 8 or so hours, set that as the time. Set the day multiplier to 1, and the night to 1 as well, that will be real time. You'll get 8 hours of day, then the 4 hours of night before the server restarts. We are considering the idea to discontinue the possibility to rent public servers.
