You get a Crown of Dusk and Bellowing Dragon Ring for like 40% more damage, pop your Homing Crystal Soul Mass, and then Crystal Soul Spear. Your opening salvo is devastating. Plus you can use the moonlight greatsword or something cool too. I think pyromancy in DeS is great. A lot of people usually go for a DEX weapon as DEX will also slightly lower your casting time for spells. Most common weapons for the build are the uchi and great scythe. Another option would be to go for a raw, lighting, or fire weapon while just using the minimum stats required to wield it.
