Honda rancher no spark

Look for test in the manual for the stator and rectifier. You don't actually have an alternator. Have you tried a different plug. Ethanol fuel is garbage and will not store at all in the tank. Its a 2000 honda recon trx 250y and its in very good shape. But it dose not run. The guy i bought it from said all it needed was a battery.
