Maglock and Kingpin work. The sole downside is the Maglock can fidget in place it seems (even when the screw is tightened) and may need filing to fit just right depending on upper. It'll also scratch a little if misaligned and you jam it super hard a lot. But, no drilling. I doubt it'll be compatible with full ambi nice lowers though.My one AR had nothing but a hex nut screwed down onto the magazine release threads to hold the mag in place and a DEC officer kept jamming at the nut to try and drop my mag. That was a fun time point being, if they don't already know the very specific way to drop the magazine then you got nothing to worry about.
