I've been wondering the same thing about AT&T Fiber. I am stuck with 100MB internet for now and AT%T claims it's fiber, but I think it's actually copper from their box to my house. Had to switch to DirectTV stream from Hulu because 100MB internet just wasn't sufficient for Huly - too many buffering issues. Is ATT "fiber" legitimate fiber optic internet? I just realized I am paying $55/ month for basic internet 6 from ATT and I am considering upgrading to ATT internet 300 for $10 more. Is it legit? You should use IP passthrough on the AT&T gateway with the UDM Pro. While not true bridge mode it will share the WAN ip with the UDM Pro so you can be on just a single NAT. You don't need to do passthrough. I have ATT Fiber 1000 and haven't had many issues. Not sure if it is correlated but over the past few months every few weeks there is a minor 1 minute issue but a quick reset of the modem or just waiting will usually bring it back to normal speeds (300/300 +/- 50 for UP and DOWN).From there, choose the 2Wire and it will provide the exact steps for this modem. They do have 100Mbps dsl available, but if you have 300 and 1000Mbps available, anything new you order is fiber.
