Leaders Clubs connect young people ages 12-18 with adult advisors to develop their leadership potential while fostering a culture of service. With the help of role models and mentors, these teens develop the skills they need to lead positive change in their communities. Our innovative Young Mentors programme pairs leaders from any industry with a Young Mentor between the ages of 18 and 25. Over the course of five one-to-one sessions, the Young Mentors will share their knowledge and world-view as a young person, offering mentees an alternative lens through which to view their work.Mentoring helps young people, especially at-risk youth, succeed in school, work, and life. A strong research base supports the efficacy of quality mentoring, including a recent meta-analysis of more than 73 independent mentoring programs that found positive outcomes across social, emotional, behavioral, and academic areas of youth development.
