I live in the SF Bay Area. A call from area code 925, local to the Bay Area, to area code 415, also within the Bay Area, did not go through. I got a busy signal. I pulled out my cell and immediately dialed the same number. I connected just fine and the call went through. I then checked other numbers where I got unexplained "busy" signals.That stranger thing is, the softphone app on my Android device works over the Wi-Fi, but the VoIP phone does not work plugged directly into the 5G gateway does not work. Hello, I purchased the ooma hub (not telo) last fall, and to be honest, I hardly ever use the phone; my wife is the main phone user of the family. She's been complaining ever since then that it takes a long time before the other phone (the one she's calling) starts to ring after she places an outgoing local call (7 digits).Just upgraded to version 3.0 of Ooma Mobile. Incoming calls do not ring on the Ooma app. I checked "Enable Ooma Mobile" on the My Ooma web site. In the app the Calling Mode is set to "Inbound and Outbound". I tried to receive a call while connected to my home Wifi network and my AT&T cell network, but neither worked. I called Ooma Customer Service and spoke to a very nice lady who patiently walked me through all the steps to fix it.It should work automatically unless you have integrated your landline into your Ooma setup.
