FWIW, i own and operate a cutlass and a connie. I think for $150 the taurus is a great buy. If you want to strictly run cargo the hull series is probably best. As they are not in game yet, keep in mind loaners (Google star citizen loaner matrix). Personally i like owning ships i know i want to use.The C-2 is dedicated to hauling cargo. The 600i is dedicated to luxury exploration. All of those ships have roles (not related to military operations at all) vastly different than ship-to-ship combat. But they are vastly more capable at ship-to-ship combat than a ship supposedly designed for military operations.If you want a fighter ship with a seat only, the best light fighter is the gladius (objectively, it has more stuff than the arrow), the best mid fighter is (subjectively) the Sabre, it has more shields and armor isn't here yet, so the hornets haven't their full value yet.
