The mini was threaded 1/2-28 X .635" and nicely re-crowned for $90 as he had to remove the reciever to fit the barrel in the headstock of the lathe. Why is a mystery to me. Finding a decent looking flash hider for a mini 14 is a nightmare. I got lucky and if you are in the market for one you can try IFA Tactical. They have a really hard to find flash hider for the Mini 14 or Mini 30 compatible with older series Rugers.
