Based on the amount of cash back I have earned (viewed on the Costco app) my instacart purchases have been racking up rewards. I have a paid InstaCart subscription and I do notice that the prices are higher than in store plus I tip at least 10% on big orders and more if the order is smaller (like less than $100).The extended service areas with increased distance to customers is becoming untenable costwise since Instacart pays shoppers for the mileage.
