My family is taking a My Way tour of Spain in October. We are a family of four (kids in their early 20s). I'm wondering at the value of hiring a guide for some of the sites vs. using the audio tours. I'm specifically thinking of The Alhambra, Alcazar, and the Royal Palace in Madrid. For the Alhambra, we can hire a private guide for 130 Euros.27057 posts. When I visited the Alhambra in early May, there was a little cart/kiosk renting the audio guides just before you lined up for the nighttime visit to the Nasrid Palaces.
