It is basically a useless perk and only works like 5% of the time and only against new or low mmr killers and only on certain maps and only with favorable hook spawns.The perk is a get out of jail free card with unlimited uses. 2.) If a killer is good he can actually use the increased drifting caused by boil over to gain distance by turning sideways. The hook aura thing is "neat" but doesn't save your very often except maybe on indoor maps. 3.Deja Vu is a base perk available to everyone by default.It was added to the game in patch 1.0.0..
