I have a decent OBD scanner (in the $100 range) that was giving the code (P0480 - COOLING FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT). Looked at the service manual for this code and did some trouble shooting. Mostly checking connections, checking fuses, relays, etc. The service manual has you check for shorted wires and relays.OBP reads AC Clutch Relay. My A/C doesn't need freon and the computer reads code to replace A/C Clutch Relay. I have looked at diagrams and cannot find the location for this part. Any idea if an 08 Jeep Patriot even has an ac clutch relay or if it's just called something else.
