Both companies offer very good short stroke piston guns as well in both 5.56 and .308, but these are more standardized but high quality DI. The PWS is a long stroke piston.A comparable mid-length, DI Daniel Defense M4v5 rifle weighs 6.44 lbs. Not quite a 1 lb difference, but close. Most of that weight difference is up front. I think it depends on what you're looking for in a rifle. Geissele has excellent triggers and rails.However, we are here to debunk that notion. FFP scopes, such as the G2 from Monstrum, are just as durable as any SFP scope, if not more. It has aircraft-grade aluminum as the body that makes it incredibly lightweight and also budge-proof. Besides that, it also fashions a 30 mm nitrogen sealed chamber.LWRC is pretty fancy, very good guns but pistons are overrated. DD makes nice lightweight guns but they're heavily gassed and expensive.
