Why my phone not charging.

I am having a problem with charging my iphone overnight. When it's fully charged half-way during the night it stops, while remaining on the charger, and when I wake up it has drained to about 80 percent. I am using a iphone 12 256gb with original usb c cable and a belkin boost charger 18W usb c.
