No they’ve been applying the waiver for quite some time now. They are only prompted to conduct a waiver review when you have 1) a direct loan and 2) a PSLF form processed. That’s the only way to know you intend to participate. So they’ve processed your ECF, and if that was your first form, they now know they need to do the PSLF waiver review.I was told that the ECF form I submitted on 3/1/21 (using the old form) is still under review. The new form I submitted (using the help tool) can only certify employment from 3/2/21 to 7/15/21. 7/7&7/13- faxed in ECF for 2 employers 8/18- Fedloan processed both ECF. PSLF tracker showed up on my account and the count updated to 29. Checked FSA a week later and that count was also updated on their site. 8/31- received letter stating my account will be transferred to Mohela If you consolidate and submit a PSLF application/ECF before October 31, 2022 then you will get credit for the loan with the longest repayment history on all your loans.
