Jan 19, 2018 · Cleveland engines share a bellhousing bolt pattern with the Windsor family. 351M engines use the bellhousing bolt pattern of the 385-series Ford big blocks. Due to a higher deck, the 351M’s intake manifold is wider than a 351C. Motor Mounts. 351 Cleveland mounts use two bolts to attach to the engine, whereas the Modified uses three. The different firing order was used for the 351W because it is easier on the #1 main bearing. Then Ford realized the same firing order reduced NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) on the 302/5.0. Reply. I have my new plug wires using this arrangement. However, when I removed the original plug wires from the engine the PO had cylinder 6 at 1 o'clock. The firing order went 6-5-4-8-1-3-7-2.
