If you're looking for an off-road rig I'd say the 1st gen for sure.

I bought an 05 Sequoia new and have put 105k on it. Very capable truck with the proper tires. Lots of room and comfortable on long trips. I have the second row buckets and console, but you would probably want the 60/40 second row.
