First I was looking at the CX 12/28. Then i got to thinking the 12/30 is the same length as my 28" semi autos and pumps. So why not get a 30" barrel. I know the CX is 60/40 and the CXS if 50/50.CXS vs 725 sporting . ... If you do mostly trap, you may also consider a Citori CX or a 725 with high rib (and adjustable comb) in order to shoot high. Personal preference once again though, but floating trap targets with a higher Point of Impact is nice. I have a CX with 30” barrels in 12 gauge and a CXS with 32” barrels in 20 gauge. For me the CX just fits and shoots better for me. I like the taller and narrower rib on the CX, and the higher POI on the CX better suits my style of shooting in skeet and sporting clays.I unfortunately cannot say the same of of my last Browning purchase, a Cynergy CXS.
