Clearly the best playbook is [insert favorite team here]. I'm going with BYU's, because it basically has two formations. Shotgun and I-Form, which are really the only two I truly use. The Shotgun, you start by running to the outside and throwing mid-range or the post. Then, go to the I formation and run up the middle.3-3-5. 3-4. 4-4. 5-2. With that being said, you should match your defense with your roster's strengths. If you have a great defensive line, you probably want to have four down linemen. If your linebackers are trash, you probably shouldn't run a 3-4.
