TMBE is based on UNP, so if you choose to have UNP based mods in your build you can also use TMBE. this will work with TMB Armors. just make sure that all body related mods in your list correspond to your installed body type. If not, then you may have to learn how to use it yourself.That side, unp used to be the popular one for more practical/realistic amours/clothes on oldrim while cbbe tended to be more skimpy. This tends to be the same for authors that make oldrim mods still. When I want to get extremely pretty faces I use High Poly Head alongside {Diamond Skin - CBBE and UNP Female Textures} and {PI-CHO ENB for Cathedral and Obsidian v Silent Horizon Custom ENB} for Obsidian Weathers. The ENB mainly is what brings out the great qualities in character faces when you have high poly meshes and the right textures.

Look at the armor mods you want to use and look if most of them have Unp or Cbbe conversation. Also check out the skin mods, most of them have both versions avaliable. At this point it is hard to tell if one is superior then the other, unless you really want to focus on jiggle physics, then CBBE 3ba is the best choice. 2.
