I'm reminded of a Gloomhaven scenario that contained a riddle, which I found to be successful. I think it was in the Infinite Beyond mini-campaign. You were presented with three colored orbs and had something to do with them. From round to round, you were able to form and execute hypotheses about that riddle.All other level 5+ cards are pretty useless in this scenario. This strategy is much more linear. Round 1: Use a high initiative move 4, the boots, and one of the traps. Put a trap in the far left or far right doorway. Round 2: Use a low initiative move 3-4 and put the 2nd trap in the middle doorway.
