They felt the 36" advantage deck didn't need the larger velocity deck opening to work well. Which makes sense since your not cutting as much grass with a 2 blade 36" deck.It is a high lift blade designed to mulch the clippings much smaller before they get blown out onto the surface of the lawn, and they do that extremely well. The pieces left behind are much smaller than what is left behind with anyone's high lift OEM factory blades- Deere and Scag included. They stripe just fine for the multitude of guys here ...

Deere still needs to get 7irons under their standers. 36" size either works because those are just little decks without the perks.
