Clicking an NPC usually doesn't give you the correct ID. Type in "help "Aela" 0" without the outside quotes but with the inside quotes. This will give you everything in the game that has to do with Aela, along with the corresponding IDs. Replace Aela with whatever you want to find the ID of.
