To be designated as a Discovery Scholar upon graduation, applicants must be a graduating senior and: graduate with a minimum of 3.5 overall GPA (with University Honors) graduate within 5 years of entering USC; meet criteria for distinction set by the appropriate USC School (see criteria below)Graduation with distinction will be recognized on the final transcript and diploma on the basis of the complete academic record. Students who apply for graduation and are enrolled in all classes required to complete degree requirements in spring or summer and have a 2.0 GPA can participate in the commencement ceremony.Attend a distinguished graduate workshop provided by the Student Engagement office Attend an interview with panel members of the programme Outcomes.
